If there’s one thing I’m immediately going to love, it’s top-notch banter. I will always pick up a book or author that I hear has great banter and this one definitely did. I will be going back to read the rest of the series as I devoured this story. I’m a little bummed I hadn’t already read the first three as the writing was really well paced, but also there was a wonderful love story even while it seems a lot of things are falling apart or the stakes are high. I felt it was handled really well and was not only believable but relatable.
