This may not have been the best title to read right after losing my cat, but on the flip side it may have also been exactly what I needed. This is told in poetic passages told from the perspective of a cat that has passed. The message is accompanied by beautiful watercolor art of cats (and sometimes dogs and humans, but mostly cats). Anyone who has lost a beloved pet knows that it’s losing a member of the family and this book perfectly captures not only a cat’s attitude, but also what any human would hope is what they may be thinking. It was both a comforting read and a hard one (but I blame that on very recently losing my cat as well, so it hit harder).

Thank you to the publisher for the copy through NetGalley.

Happy reading!
